The University of Buea, member of the RIMI4AC Consortium and SARIMA, lead partner of the RIMI4AC project, are co-organising an international meeting; The RIMI4AC Central Africa Regional Conference: Regional Conference On Building Excellent R&I Programmes for Central Africa, from 12 to 16 March 2012.
The high point of the event will be the launching of a new research and training network for Central Africa called, Central African Research and Innovation Management Association (CARIMA).
The Regional Conference features several training workshops such as Young Researchers’ Meeting, Grant Writing Workshop, ESSENCE Focus Group on Health Research etc have also been organised alongside these meetings.
Participants at this Regional Conference include, Universities in Central Africa, Private and Public Research Institutes, Health Research Networks, Young Researchers from Universities and Research Institutes in the Central African Region, RIMI4AC Consortium Members from Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. Resources persons include; Senior Researchers, Media Development and ICTs experts, Intellectual Property Experts, Health Research Ethics experts, Senior Research Managers, etc.
